Idaho Power is currently offering tremendous rebates for companies that upgrade their present lighting to something mor energy efficient.  Typically the rebates cover about 50% of the costs of the upgrade depending on the upgrade.

The most popular lighting conversion that we do are the T12 to T8 lighting retrofits.  With this lighting retrofit we typically see rebates covering over 50% of the cost and depending on fixture type sometimes up to 80%.  The payback periods are usually shorter than 2 years.  We recently completed a project with a 7 month payback period.  

By retrofiting the lighting from T12s to T8 lighting your company gets more energy efficient lighting, but just as important the lighting is BETTER.
